Duran for me. Master of the dark arts as well. Would fight dirty better than Pacman if he had to. Peak Duran would be mid 70's as lightweight. Inexperienced when he beat Buchanan. Ahead on pts but took him out with a low blow. Interesting to note that while he was not frightened of Buchanan, he was reluctant to fight him again and praises him to the hilt nowadays.

Like I said Floyd's best is for him to attack and hopefully he lands the KO blow.

Everyone and their granny knows that Manny is susceptible to a counter punch, but they don't realise how difficult he is to land a good shot on. His defence is actually very good with, stats not too dissimilar to Floyd's, probably has a lot to do with footwork.

To beat him you're going to need to take some punishment and counter when he leaves an opening. Marquez and Morales caused him big problems because they had the heart and the chin to stand and trade, that's why I think Duran would win a hypothetical bout. I've not seen the fights Manny lost early in his career but I wouldn't be surprised if he lost in the same way.

Regarding Mayweather, unless he changes his style, I don't see him being able to land a power shot on Manny. I respect Floyd's skills and he could beat him, but I don't know if he's prepared to take those types of risks.

People forget the punishment/knock downs etc. Marquez has had to take to get his results over Manny. Floyd wants no part of that.

At welterweight Duran wins via ko in 2. Pacnan is not in the same stratosphere as Duran. Comparing them is an insult to boxing
