Every offensive player has benefitted from Herrera's insertion into the first XI, but I think his understanding with Mata is the best.
Several others have noted it previously, that goal in front of the Kop is just another reminder.

What we've been saying all season!

I - along with a few tbf- have said this since the beginning of the season.
Still, it is good to see.

The Valencia-Mata-Herrera partnership and the Blind-Young-Fellaini partnership is developing nicely

Both were magnificent in the first half. Herrera seemed almost absent in the second though, might have been carrying an injury but he seemed to do worse when there was more space in midfield. Hope he's right for the city game

Still baffles me that both were struggling to get in the side earlier in the season.
These two just link up well. You just get that with some players.

Wouldn't really say much about Valencia's role in that "partnership" (bring back Rafa ffs )
Mata and Herrera though. Exquisite.
