To be fair there is nothing wrong with Klinsmann getting huge numbers of votes and I would not argue with him and Greaves being the top two at the end.

But given that Klinsmann was 20 years ago, you would think that those fans voting for him would now be of an age to have had some idea about who our best striker ever is and for him to be leading the votes.

I dread to think when the manager vote opens how that is going to play out. I mean is there really any point to that one?

422 goals in 602 club games ffs 0.70 goals per game when defenders could kick lumps out of you.

Even just for Spurs he got 0.70 goals per game.

Sandy, and this was on pitches that were mudheaps for half the season, plus non of the hi tech equipment for training or medical support, just a bucket & sponge, ice cold water & if you were lucky half an orange at half time!

Not old enough to remember Klinsmann, but why was he only with us for one season at a time?

There is no mention of Keith Burkinshaw in the Top 20, yet he is second only to the great Bill Nicholson in terms of trophies won at Spurs!
