Must people have said he was overpriced. Comes with being young and English unfortunately.

Many including me have said he as bags of potential. Anyway who has watched the lad over the last few yrs can see that. He us 19 only, if you still can't see any potential whatsoever then you are pretty clueless

He is steady, consistent, good defender. Can improve massively on his attacking play. Like I said he will improve as he gets older. I haven't seen many defenders at his age at all that seem to have such assureness about them

Manc, don't worry about the bed wetting cretins on here. Shaw has been very good when he's played this season. People are under the impression that players like Shaw have to justify a £30 million price tag within months of arriving. He was bought for the next 10 years.

It's sad to see people writing him off too soon. MuDD is the biggest hypocrite of all. Spends all day creating articles about how i'm writing LVG off too soon and acts the super-fan yet is talking about selling Shaw within a season of arriving.

This is not a given. Some players do not develop as they get older. Phil Neville is a classic example of that.

So, in reality, all you can give me is assuredness for a young age and potential.

Is he great on the ball, is he strong in the tackle. Does he dominate wingers, does he get forward well. Does he create chances for our forwards. Does he cross the ball well?

Help me out here, or is this beyond you?

This would have rolled straight off my tongue, had I had been in your shoes and seen all this.

As I have said, and will say again, I have nothing against Shaw. I have not written him off, I just haven't seen this 'potential'.

I really hope he is the real deal.

Surprised such an expert on the game and a huge fan of united hasn't been able to see Shaws potential for themselves.

They're all hypocrites mate. Spending all day lecturing people to be patient with lvg and then throwing Shaw out with the bath water.
