The worst player to have....

won the most trophies for Chelsea?. There was a conversation at work today about who is the worst player who has won a lot of trophies for your football team. Now to define worst, someone who played badly, didn't get many games etc. Obviously, goalies will feature a lot. But any ideas on outfield players?

First suggestion
Ross Turnbull- Games played over four seasons -7
Medals received: FA Cup x 2, Champions League Medal and Europa League Medal.

Second Suggestion
Hilario- Games Played over eight seasons - 20
Medals received:
ChelseaPremier League: 2009–10
FA Cup: 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2011–12
Football League Cup: 2006–07
FA Community Shield: 2009
UEFA Champions League: 2011–12
UEFA Europa League: 2012–13

Feel free to share players from other teams.

Nick , Please play nicely,

Every player has poor games, he is no different, but to suggest he was one of our poorest player to collect major honours imo ridiculous , I'm suggesting he was continuously one our of best players, but he was relabel and did do the job when called upon.

The club gave him two contracts and he featured continuously in the periods when we won honours

during paulo ferrieras reign we tried out glen johnson, geremi, essien, diarra, boulahrouz and ivanovic at right back. Why is that?

If he was in a team of the last 4 or 5 years he would of been found out even more mate. Our defence was near enough impenetrable in 04-05, best partnership CBs in the league, the best DM possibly ever, and we had the ball 70% of the time, yet he still messed up in near enough every games.

He was not a first choice player, but he did do the job as a utility player very well as the facts clearly show.

He was relied upon and he did produce.

Like i have said imo he wasn't one of our first 11 nailed on players , but he was effective and did over the seasons play his part in our success over 10 seasons.

To easily discard this type of players service imo a little ungrateful , not every player will be a season in season out machine , its a team sport.

All I'm saying for the purpose of this article is that there were several other players who were a lot more underserving than him , in particular , hands down Torres !

To be fair Nick i agree with your assessment of his vulnerability as a player, he was not perfect, but i do totally feel he deservedly played his part in our success and did do his job !

Very ignorant to suggest Hillario, he did his job, yes he did have ups and downs, but on the whole he was on it.

Torres wins this easily

Spot on...gotta feel for Hilario really..he'll have to explain that lot to his grandchildren

Paulo was great man always did a job, was only the other year he had to come in v spurs and had bale in his back pocket.

Nick do you sit in front of a pole at these games? Because all you ever talk is bollux and nobody else ever seems to think the same. Specsavers or a new seat is needed mate, dont mean this to be offensive but just trying to help you out
