WOBs

Are you going to apologise?

posted on 4/4/15

3 points for Chelsea with a game in hand, how is the non WOB's belief about Arsenal's title hopes going now? Chelsea bought Remy in for cover for Costa and look how he's helped them in the striking position. Chelsea were weak there last season, Mourinho fixed it in the summer and his reward will be the title. Wenger would rely on Sanogo.

Wenger has pretty much done everything the WOBs were calling for though, and reaped the benefits of doing so

Sign Gabriel in August rather than January and we could have realistically grabbed 4 or 5 more points, from him standing in for injuries and this meaning that players like Mertesacker and Koscielny can get more of a rest.

Have Coquelin/another DM in the side instead of Arteta/Flamini in from Summer and that could be another 4 or 5 points too.

Add to the fact that some of these points could be taken off teams like Chelsea and City... We could easily be within the title mix, and that's the frustrating thing.

Injuries can be blamed like they have been for the past 5 or 6 seasons, but there's still a lot to see before you can say we've turned a corner.

Spot on mate. The AKB brigade ignore the fact that Wenger had to respond to the massive criticism he received and the anger which was boiling over and that has been the crucial factor in our good run. And in any event we haven't won the league or CL yet.

Really hope Arsenal win the league this year so i can tell all those WOBs to apologise lads. Will be top quality banter lads.

Can't wait to see them apologise lads. Really fills me with joy lads.

And if we don't win the league.... ooo i can't wait to tell all those AKBs to apologise lads. Will be top quality banter lads. Really fills me with joy lads.

I really need to extend my social circle lads.

The WOB were also the ones who thought Wenger sold all our best players and refused to spend money for personal enjoyment and because he didn't want to win the title

It's funny that Wenger's basically been under constant pressure since around 08 but when you look at where we are now with a quality squad, depth in most positions, youth coming through as always and 100m in reserves to add to the team then he must be something right.

Pretty ironic that the AKBs seem to moan all the time about the WOB only posting after defeats, when after every single victory there's an article from an AKB telling the WOB to 'faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack offffff'

That idiot argument of wob being reason for our success. If it was up to you Wenger would be gone and we would likely be in freefall with coq sold and Alex song as our dm so don't try to claim anything.

Paulista in the summer would have saved us 4 to 5 points

I don't get into that childish chit but look at some of the deluded articles you came out with this season and that's meant to be the voice of reason. Some WOB's with anger management issues think it makes them more passionate fans cos you throw your toys out the pram.

I am not convinced by Wenger anymore. Lets see if he can actually win a major trophy.

I am not so sure getting close is a sign of progress or actually a sign that we would have won or at least taken the challenge to the last week if Wenger had actually replaced Arteta/Flamini/Mertesacker last summer as most thought was needed.

Wenger still has a lot to answer for. It's his decision making in the transfer market, team & tactics selection, his handling of injuries, and his preferred training methods, that has caused us problems and split the fan base.

I'm not AKB or WOB because, well, I'm an adult. However, I gave his schoolboy errors the benefit of the doubt whilst he was guiding us through the stadium change. The last 2/3 yrs though he has had no excuse, and to be quite blunt, there is very little that he has done in that time that has impressed me.

And for 8mil pa, he should be fecking impressive!
