Paris Roubaix

Anyone watching?

Peloton just got split due to a level crossing.
Team Sky testing a new Dogma with rear suspension for the cobbles.
Wiggins was struggling at the back not too long ago.

Geraint Thomas just crashed.

What a mess.

Yes but not coming through Harrogate

The train to Harrogate during the TDF was a nightmare. I gave up trying to get on it. Went to Belfast for the giro, was brilliant. Shame the weather was horrible.

On the TDY site:

WHY DOES THE TOUR DE YORKSHIRE NOT GO TO SOME PARTS OF YORKSHIRE?

The inaugural Tour de Yorkshire will take place predominantly in areas which missed out on the Grand Départ of the Tour de France. Welcome to Yorkshire worked with local authorities who were keen to support the new race (Bridlington, Scarborough, Selby, Wakefield, York, Leeds, North Yorkshire County Council and East Riding Council) and ASO (the Amaury Sports Organisation) regarding technical requirements to select the best route for this international road race. Also - it’s not possible over 3 days of circa 500km of racing to cover all the 10k kilometres of roads in Yorkshire!

. . . we'll have to wait until next year, maybe, for it to come to Harrogate and Sheffield.

I was surprised that the TDF came to Sheffield. . . and there were complaints from some numptys that it went through some industrial parts of Sheffield and not all the scenic areas - Jenkin Road was brilliant.

I can understand York (it is the Tour de Yorkshire after all) - you can't please all the folk etc.etc.
