When we played Boro, we were labelled as the 2nd best form team after Boro..we beat them...then went dowwwwn

One of my phrases is

It's not the actually results which worry me, it's how we are playing, the style of play and the tactics

We haven't played well this side of xmas.

Liw, I remember the commentator saying at the Boro game, 2 form teams, we surged from relegation. After that game...

Ppl think I flavour my anti Redders rhetoric with Adryan overtones, but truth is we have a squad of players who like Murphy, Morro and Wooton, deserve a chance in a new system which could change the tide.

You'd be mad to say that Redfearn's position and the recent results haven't been affected by having his assistant sacked. Who's our coaching staff at the moment? Is it just Redders on his own?

But he is a limited manager. He deserves credit for this season, as we were heading for the drop before he got us playing, but he's not a manager to get you promoted.

If you take a look at what you have copied, and try reading it very very slowly, maybe you'll see what I think about it all!..

Crap when you say player's are good enough to play a system, if they know that system maybe, but some player's from other counties play other systems!..

He may be a limited manager (aren't they all?), but Best Fans, you're right. He's done a pretty decent job given the circumstances.

Anyone who claims he should be able to continue as if nothing's changed has clearly never worked in a pressured environment. Losing you're right-hand man is bound to have an effect.

And whilst that doesn't mean he's what we need going forward, it certainly means that to blame him for the last few games is foolhardy.

Understand that he is a limited manager. That's how it looks anyway.

But no manager would be able to do much with a squad that has no balance and the players available only really lend themselves to one formation (the diamond) which doesn't work.

Any other formation requires playing players out of position. It's a crazy situation to be in as a manager.

If you look at the squad I don't know what more we can expect!

We have the basis of a good side but as many have stated we need 4 or 5 quality players to walk straight in to it to be able to compete!

You make your own luck in football and whether we had a lot or not, results breed confidence and we were on a roll and we were fighting for results! The sacking of Thompson when we were on this run is the most ludicrous decision at this football club, paired with the Hockaday appointment!

We can't compete with the top teams in this division with the squad we have, it's not strong enough! We had a good system going with Morison playing for a while but he has gone off the boil and we do miss Cook and Rudy massively

I don't know how true this is but there was something flying about lastnight that for the Blackburn game they brought 8 members of the coaching team with them, Redfearn had Neil Sullivan and the physio....that's not going to get you anywhere
