The Milan Derby

What a steep decline this once incredibly exciting match has been in the last few years.
I remember always looking forward to it every time it came around in the late 90s and the turn of the century when the biggest superstars in world football were making big headlines in this derby.
The likes of Ronaldo , Weah , Baggio , Maldini , Shevshenko , Desailly , etc used to light up the Milan Derby back when I was growing up.

But as I get ready to watch this match tonight , I'm rather saddened to see that both clubs are heavily struggling on and off the pitch , they've both fallen so far behind Juventus and AS Roma , they can hardly get big crowds anymore at the San Siro and most of all they don't seem to be able to attract world-class players nowadays.
Not too long ago this was the biggest match in world football but how the mighty have fallen.

Still hope to see them return to their glory days of yesteryear ( wasn't too long ago Inter did the Treble , was it? ) and I'm still expecting to watch a cracker tonight
