The Macron Overdale

Watching Bolton in 2015 has frankly been a boring experience. Nothing to play for, loan players I can't bond and love & a crowd more interested in winning a toaster or a pie during the half time competitions....

What can we do to get the stadium rocking? The club haven't helped by actually raising the price of the season ticket!!! I'm not an economist or financial whiz kid, but surely selling tickets for a tenner will mean more bodies, more pies sold and a better atmosphere???

I'd love to see 2 things change though that I think would assist with the atmosphere & build the future fan base....

1) everyone who follows BOLTON says the away games are best for atmosphere and 99% of the time behind the goal.... So let's make the north stand the area for singing and create a kop/stretford end type area.... A place for flags and songs... Incidentally we really need some new songs and songs about players... We've lost our musically ability...

2) get the family stand in the east or west stands.... I moved from the north to the west this season because my boy couldn't get the game and the movement as its a different view from one on TV... Kids need to be interested and often the game behind the goal is difficult to follow....

We've got a load of websites and fans on Twitter and on here, I just can't believe we don't organise songs and flags and instead leave it to the 15 year olds in the east corner to chant wa#%y wanderers every now and again......

Didn't the club try and get the North stand as a singing stand for this season - revamping the underneath and getting the far 2 kiosks selling different beer. I've spent the vast majority of the season in that stand and there's been a decent atmosphere twice - Brentford and Wigan in the league. So I take it not many people too them up on the idea and it fell a bit flat.

West stand was only good if you wanted to moan for 90 minutes. Terrible in there.

I have noticed that kids love white goods. Well either that or dancing about like idiots anyway.

Its no use the club trying to make the nsl a singing stand as people myself included sit there because it is the cheapest part of the ground to sit in. If season tickets were the same price all round the ground then they might have a chance with that one. The match day prices are ridiculous. No wonder there was hardly any fans at the charlton game. Should be £20 max sat games, £10 midweek games to get em in.

The only thing that will make a real difference is if we have a decent season 2015/16. The gates are poor at present but going back through the years, the atmosphere in the stadium, always improves with success on the pitch.

Let's hope Lennon, can change things round next season.
