Well- we know now we will be playing 'Boro in our first play-off game (as long as we can keep a clean sheet v Reading, who now have nothing to play for except pride).

Weve scored more goals than 'Boro and let in more. We have a one goal superior goal difference. We need someone to man-mark Bamford and stop him from scoring. I could not bear for him to score the winner.

I have a feeling Steve has been protecting Thorne, Best and Martin with play-offs in mind. I certainly hope they can all contribute to a positive outcome and we'll play the winner of East Anglia's battle at Wembley. If we can recapture our earlier form we can beat anybody.
COYR ( please).

Not necessarily Ramdini, We could still play Norwich if we finish 5th or they finish 3rd and us 6th etc.....

Best? Please god no

Tommo, only one consonant wrong. Sorry. Yes it could be others. The idea of Bamford show-boating at Wembley appals. Please God - no.

I think you'll be playing Norwich. I don't think Ipswich will win at Blackburn and you, Boro and Norwich will all win.

TEG,

You are more confident than me! We don't have the best record against Reading and our recent form is nothing short of erratic.
Ipswich are the worst team in the play off positions which inevitably means they will get promoted.

Can feel the nerves starting now, difficult to have a gut feeling about who we might face when I'm still trying to get over the gut feeling that says we might fluff our lines.

If we do get Borough I think the thing is not too focus too heavily on Bamford, we fell into their trap at their place and gave Bamford space on the counter in which he can do damage, our team against them at the I-pro was one of the weakest we've fielded all season and we nearly got a point.

Also, think Karanka's authoritarian style might be starting to wear thin. Remember Bam Bam's last outing at Wembley nothing to fear. Even if he did score the winner I have a feeling the lad might be in for a bit of a fall.

That equaliser against Millwall was important last week. At least you go into Saturday only needing a draw now. The equaliser against Brentford seems even more important now though.

You're right there TEG, if we somehow do get promoted I think what ever we are paying for Darren Bent will be justified with that one goal.
I don't have a great feeling for the weekend, but as a Derby fan, I very rarely do. I will be very dissapointed after the whole season to not get to the play-offs, but if we got into them, it wouldn't hurt as much as last year if we didn't get promoted. We are a long way short of being a Premiership team at present, and not sure it could be fixed over one summer.

Of course there is the 'Fish' factor to consider

2 Wellies, Bam Bam's last game at Wembley was when he was brought on at the 90 minute mark. We were 1 down at the time!

He should have been brought on when QPR had a man sent off. All we did was give Dunne and Onhuga a sore neck.

I feel so disappointed with the way we have capitulated just lately that I'm past caring whether we get a point on Saturday or not. It would only lead to even more disappointment.

Roll on next season, maybe we will face the Blades if Nigel get's his finger out. It will be nice to play our reserves!
