In respect of the article below, and the fact that CoD is now just a cash cow, I though I'd reminisce on the good times and favourite memories. Mine all come from MW1 happily.
I was playing on Bloc, the Russian level perfect for snippers and playing hardcore mode. I'd ran out of ammunition with my main weapon and only had my gold desert eagle on me. I was stood in one of those external stairways, looking across the map. I could just make out someone in the darkened building opposite. I took aim with the inherently accurate desert eagle, fired one round and heard "p'TING".
Another brilliant match took place on Wetworks (the rainy, night time ship level). I had the silenced MP5 with UAV jammer (or whatever that perk was called). Think it was just a team deathmatch. At the beginning of the match I sprinted towards the enemy and killed a couple of them. However, I got so far behind their lines early on the other side didn't really expect it. I was mowing down one after the other who ran past me and they had no idea where I was because of my silencer and UAV jammer. Think I got a 15+ killstreak at least before one of the other team cottoned on to what was happening.
I also recall getting a double headshot kill with a snipper rifle on Bloc too. Almost fell over with laughter.

I got 54 kills playing TDM on Black ops 1. Considering you win by getting 75 kills as a team I was pretty happy to get that on my own.
Also some of the random achievements (5 kills with 1 predator, 5 kills with (the notoriously rubbish ) MW3 airstrike etc

I loved the custom sniper maps on CoD 2 on the PC. I was terrible at standard FPSing, but a beast at sniping. Mainly because I was so good at finding good hiding places.

I lived COD 4, the balance was perfect between fun and seriousness. MW2 was obviously a bigger hit and it was more arcade than console. Didn't like it as much but was still good. Wasn't a fan of 360 scope rest were rubbish. COD 5 was quite good actually, mainly due to zombie mode

My best memory was not buying any of these games, instead I bought dark souls. Never looked back

My best moment was quite epic. MW2. Was running along when got shot in the back, was on last stand, turn around and look up to see the guy at a window, so quickly throw my knife whilst down there on my arris and it gets the bstad! Was great!
