lets calm down here. Yes Sterling wasn't great today but whenever like it or not hes been one of our best players this season within a number of roles. As for Suarez made sturridge look better than he is are u having a laugh??

I agree sturridge's problems this year have nothing to do with suarez being gone. it's his injuries, but sterling has not been one of their better players, runs into so many dead ends and has no shot. I prefer ibe. and surely a defensive player has been one of their best players. how many more points would they have had with just 1 goal in a game. enough to pass utd..

Sterling was our best player until December.

He was still playing well in January and early February.

His form has dropped off since but even if he plays badly in the remaining games he has still had a good season overall.

It's debatable if he was our best player. He started well with goals against Southampton and Spurs but after that his form has been patchy. Reason being that he has been sussed out. He has too many weaknesses that defenders are able to exploit.

You are talking drivel.

He hasn't been found out at all, he just has no confidence and is not concentrating on football.

He was our best player the first half of the season, statistically and with most people's eyes.

Aww poor Sterling is not concentrating on football despite have 2.5 years left on his contract and turning down 100k a week. How dare I criticise him

You can criticise him, just don't be a tabloid hack.

In short he was terrible last night...worst player on the pitch and i dont know why he got a full 9o.

He is a kid who overall has had a good season, but he has put himself in another category to be judged by due to the fact that he wants to earn top wages.

so how do we judge him? by his age and inexperience or next to other £150K+ players?

Coutinho was leagues ahead of him last night and has been for ages now and has signed for £100k....

I've never bought into the hype. He cant shoot, decision making in the final third is shocking, has a terrible touch and cant even dribble these days. all he does is to run into corners and fall over.
Get rid of him if there's anyone mad enough to pay us 30mil for him.
Suarez used to be so frustrated with him last season and I see why.
take that 100k contract off the table I say.

End of the day u all criticise him but end of the day he puts a shift in however hes playing. He does really need to work on his shooting and crossing quite a bit but he has all the attributes for being a top player. If he goes then fair enough. The money we can all agree on but This league is a money league anyway too much crap going on.
