attacker.
Barcelona have scored 117 goals so far this season, 113 of which have been scored by Messi, Suarez and Neymar. This means that only 4 goals have been scored by other players. Fellaini has scored 7 this season, therefore he'd be Barca's 4th best attacker.
Flawless logic
Fellaini would be Barca's 4th best...

How many years does Messi have to score 50+ goals and 20+ assists for people to take him seriously
I think people don't give him the recognition because he's playing presently.
Nostalgia will help him in a decade or so like it has the others mentioned

Don't think anyone's not taking Messi seriously, he's a genius, one of the best players I've ever seen, just not the best, everyone on here has said he's a brilliant player

One of my favourite strikers I've ever seen play was ronaldo, he was a beast.
But i haven't seen anyone do it for the period of time Messi has at the highest level

Not consistently no, but that may be due to all sorts of factors, Ronaldo is still the most brilliant talent I've ever seen, by a mile, he achieved a fair bit himself too, even at about 50% of what he could have been

One of the most exciting players I have seen in terms of ball control and skill was ronaldhino. Sure in the end IMO and why I read about him he wasted his talent and it would be difficult and wrong maybe to say he was better than Messi. But honestly at his peak he did things with the ball I have yet to see by any top player today. Messi ronaldo Suarez anyone.
That said I actually think Neymar can be in the same bracket as messi and Rinaldo. His development is hindered at barca by messi Suarez et al. Not saying he will be better or have the longevity just saying he has the potential. Weirdly his international record for me shows he is better than allowed to be at club level and messi is almost the opposite as in system doesn't suit him so he isn't as lethal

Romario and Ronaldo in about 18 Brazil games together scored 36 goals, that was pretty impressive.

Look, Mex ramming down his opinion that Messi isn't the best ever again. Give it a rest yeah.

Another vote for Maradona here, and I agree with the general sentiment of Falmaria's comment about him (without judging the remarks about Messi). What I will say about Messi though is that the sheer number of goals he scores all too often overshadows his creativity and passing, which I don't think he gets anywhere near enough credit for.
I also regret not having been around to have watched Di Stefano regularly. Many of those who did often rate him as the best ever and liken his presence to having an extra man in each line of the team - defence, midfield and attack.
Even so, I struggle to believe he -or anyone else for that matter- had Maradona's level of skill.
