It was not a slip

Whilst it's nice everyone saying how great Gerrard has been let's stick to the facts

He let the ball run under his feet and then slipped - I think of this when I hear his name before I think of any of his great moments

Also he made it clear that he wanted to leave but due to cave man behaviour from our fans he was forced to stay - this isn't loyalty it is fear

I appreciate fans don't like to hear this stuff ( facts/truth) but I am as honest as I am vocal

That's a lot of typing to say you don't know if they take out cash

It's funny, I read it and came to the conclusion that they don't take money out. Not your fault you're thick though......

Not a penny out?

The stadium redevelopment is being financed by an interest free loan from FSG.

Can you explain to me what sense it would make for them to take cash out of the club? It's not as if they need it.

You'd see from the accounts if they are taking money out. They're not.

He can't explain anything. He's even claiming he had a source that told him either Gerrard or Rodgers would be gone by January. Arouna with a source

H&G, whilst leveraging debt against the club which cost £40m+ per season in interest alone, took two million in expenses for 'travel'.

True story.

TOOR.

You strike me as a reasonably intelligent, fair-minded bloke. I find it genuinely surprising that, a) you can't recognise the fact that we're, at best, treading water or, at worst, regressing under FSG's ownership, and b) Moneyball doesn't work in football.

Shortlight, as long as the owners are putting money back into the club and progressing the club, I'm good with it. There are a lot of clubs this doesn't happen with. We have shown good progress as a club over their time here. I'm not sure how there can be any doubt about that. It's clear for all to see.

Fair enough they don't spend vast sums over what we receive but that can't happen anyhow due to FFP so to wish for them to do so is stupid. The only way to be able to spend more is to increase our income and that's what they have done and continue to strive towards, hence the stadium upgrade and numerous financial deals.

I'm not sure what it is you expect them to do?

On moneyball, well I'm not of the opinion it will work, especially when the players we go for are choosing elsewhere. I would like to see us sign more experienced players but as we've found out we're being overlooked by these players. This summer is massive, we've lost Gerrard, we've found Balotelli not to be enough to cover for Sturridge and United have been able to spend massively.

We need a top striker and a replacement for Gerrard at least. If we don't get these players, fifth is the best we can hope for again, as Sturridge is already been confirmed injured for a lot of the season.
