Thankfully for once when a great player is leaving us its when his best seasons have been with us an no one else. But now SG has said his farewell at Anfield, now step back and look at the squad. Full of young potential and not much else.
We have seen real quality leave season after season, Masch, Alonso, Carra, Torres, Riise, Suarez, Gerrard. For the first time in a long time, it looks like there is no real quality coming in. Where is the next big signing coming from? A club like ours needs quality in, a big player a proper player. I hope to god we have someone lined up, because we despearately need one or two to help the younger ones.

Bacca is class. Watch him in the Europa final. Benteke would be great in any PL team I think, especially attack minded one with good wingers.
You could sell Sterling and go for Benteke, providing United aren't in for him (or even Chelsea) !!

If Yaya Toure is available then we should be going after him. Still head and shoulders above anyone we have in our squad but no way will FSG pay those wages.
