Giroud vs Benzema

Absolutely ludicrous that GT is somehow trying to dismiss a superior CF to back Giroud.

Just says we should stick with Giroud unless Aguero or Suarez is available as if 15 CF's in the Europe wouldn't be an upgrade.

Giroud is clearly not good enough and has never proven to be elite in 3 years.

Benzema will offer movement, skill and spontaneous capabilities of scoring a goal from nothing and his link-up play is actually as good as Giroud's much famed one, regardless of current opinions he'd thrive as main man here.

Benzema is the same bracket as the our best most realistic options out there and if there's an opportunity we should be all over that.

Giroud is back up at best, simple.

I can see where GT is coming from. Benzema is a massive bottler In front of goal.

However, he is a very creative centre forward. He especially very good at linking midfield to attack. I would take Benzema over Giroud certainly.

On the other hand, Benzema and Ozil in front of goal frightens me. No bottle between them.

There are many striker in the world better than Giroud and footballwise our talentwise Benzema surely is better. Never said that otherwise or saying that OG is a world class striker that isnt replaceable.

You all want to replace Giroud because you dont like his style allthough his stats comparing to other strikers are not as bad as some made out.

I have no problem to replace Giroud. Wenger bought Welbeck to replace him. Who is playing now. Giroud and we missed him badly when he was injured.

You all want to throw millions of pounds for a striker who scores when it matters, who scores reliable in big games. Benzema, Cavani are not your men then.

Replace or bring in competition for OG.Competition is needed and brings out the best of every player. No problem. But please throw out money for someone who making a real difference when it matters.
