Luis Suarez hails Liverpool FC boss Brendan Rodgers for bringing best out of him
“When Brendan was appointed, I was excited. I’d actually spoken to him when he was at Swansea in Spanish, which I thought was a good touch. He was familiar with the Spanish way of playing, as he’d studied there.
“He was very clever and told me that Liverpool would play possession football, as it would suit me. He helped me with my runs, arriving in the area at the right time and coming in from wide – rather than just waiting in the middle – which benefited my confidence.
“We worked hard on finding ways I could isolate players and then try to beat them, man on man. That was the only way I could succeed in England.
“If you punt a long ball up towards me and one of these (Premier League) defenders, I am not going to win it.
“But the way Liverpool played, with the ball on the floor, and being released very fast to my feet, gave me a chance against the big guys.
“I wasn’t proven and I had to adapt to the Premier League, which Brendan knew. He knows all about English football and he educated me to become successful."

I'd say things that were said a few/6, 7, 8 months ago, aren't as relevant as they were, if, since they were said, the whole mindset had changed and the club had backwards at light speed, which yours has.
So the comment seems false and it seems it's being used to trick the masses.
If the Daily Star printed a headline saying Lord Lucan is missing, would you just think "just because it happened years ago it's still relevant...blah blah"
Or would you think "feck me that's desperate"? Can we not use today's news?
Or would today's news be too depressing for you guys?
You can talk to me, I know what it's like to be stuck in reverse for a season, it's truly awful.
Hopefully you guys can smash a load more dough this summer and get it right this time. New manager worked for us.
Then again our old manager seemed to fluke it at times rather than use tactical nous, was totally inexperienced at CL level, used to talk loads of cráp in interviews, was heavily reliant on one or two players and wasn't sure when or when not to play our star elder statesmen, somewhat isolating them.
Brenvid Moydgers
But I don't think we booed the manager, we sacked him. Fast, clean, no fuss. Chopped the head off the snake.
We went again.
And now look at us. We've lost a star striker. A world class, star striker, just like you guys did. Luckily we weren't double-reliant on him. We'll progress as a group as we're stronger than any individual. (Except Carrick )
CL is a prerequisite for a manager like Looey, certainly after one season anyway. It will not be a hindrance.
It's only 6 more games anyway, right?
If Rodgers gets through summer, and does nothing in his fourth year, is that too much?

I loved Suarez to bits but even I know what his plan was, to up his game to increase his price tag so he could move to Spain. He still bit someone in the World Cup, he still went and Rodgers was still unable to keep him. What Suarez says about last season doesn't matter now because Rodgers failed to replace him and he hasn't been able to impose the same psychology on the rest of them, Balotelli being a case in point.

Other than the CL bit, that describes the new freak as well.

in fairness i've only seen a couple of his
the philosophy one and the rant about long balls with the fact sheet.
because everyone was talking about them. otherwise I don't really watch other clubs interviews.
