Not really sure why people are moaning about our transfers so far tbh. Sure you can feel underwhelmed and a bit meh but they're not exactly bad signings.

Is Milner better than our current CM's? yes
Is Ings better than Borini and Lambert and will he score more than Balotelli? Yes
Is Bogdan better than Jones? Yes

Now sure they're not signings for us to get ecstatic over but the transfer window has just opened and with them all being free should allow us to spend our money on the areas we desperately need such as a world class striker.

Oh and to people saying Bogdan is their reserve keeper, he's not. Find out from Bolton fans instead of just assuming, he's been injured most of the season.

Owners can now pump money in to the club so long as its not a loan.

i.e. the oil sheiks and roman can no longer say, heres £100mill at 0% interest, and expect to get it back when they sell the club.

now if they want to inject money in to the club they have to give the money to the club or take it as equity, so, if they spend £100m they will only get it back if that £100 million has increased the clubs value by the same amount (which it wont because you will write off 1/5th of that money each year as amortization, so it needs to bring lasting success and commercial deals, higher TV revenues, raising ticket prices, etc)

Basically if like th city/psg owners you dont give two shíts about your money, because you can just drill another oil well, or raise the price of oil to make it back, you can just fling a blank chequebook at your manager again, the only diffrence being you cant expect to receive the money back, unless it adds worth to your club,

which is more in line with reguar business..

of course this will now be a stick to beat FSG with, despite them always saying: "We wont ever take money FROM the club, but we also wont ever pump vast amounts IN TO the club"

to me thats a nobe sentiment, when you look at how the glazers have hamstrung united for years, but hey ho...

Ming is a good keeper was excellent second half of the season bar Stoke away.

We need to spend big in other areas spending 20 million on a keeper this summer would be ridiculous and loads of you would moan away if we did cause we could have used it on another player.

No one is asking to look to replace Mig. What we need is a number 2 who can step in should Mig get injured, suspended or is out of form again.

Backup keepers don't cost much. Spurs bought Vorm for £5m.
