Moves to Juventus. Done deal: agreement reached tonight in Madrid, €15M to Atlético Madrid and contract until 2019 for him.
That's a good signing for them IMO, especially with Tevez reportedly going back to Boca next season. They're building a good team and showing ambition, if they keep Pogba I think they'll get far in Europe again next year.

... What are Atleti playing at? Their profile has been raised in the last 2-3 years, but they're still not a massive draw or have the big finances in comparison to other European giants. Who are they going to sign to replace Mandzukic at such a reasonable price?
------------
Vietto. And he'd deffo be an upgrade on Mandy.

Senor IOAG, have you edited Vietto's wiki page already? It states he plays for Atleti

Ah yes I forgot they were getting him, for about the same price they sold Mandzukic for.

Bear in mind that both Atlético and Madrid are still under investigation from FIFA.
Both sides seem confident that they won't be hit with a transfer ban and they're both working to hammer out deals on arrivals and departures, but I don't think they'll make (m)any formal announcements until FIFA announce their ruling, which I think is due before the end of the month.

Barça have already signed Aleix Vidal for next season even though he won't be able to play for them until the New Year.

Quite pleased at this deal, particularly for the price, he brings a wealth of experience (which is vital given that the rest of our strike force will all be under 23 and only one of them will have played European football, ever) he brings a great work ethic, which is crucial in this Juventus team, he's a goalscorer, and he performs in big games, obviously he's not as good as Tevez, but unless Juve were buying Aguero or Suarez they weren't going to get someone better than Tevez

Now Miranda is off to Inter for around €14m. A year left on his deal, maybe he had no intent to sign a new contract.

Llorente looks to be going to Monaco for around €15-20m so we've basically replaced him with Mandzukic for 0 net spend #Marottanomics

Didn't know Llorente was off, Mex. Makes perfect sense from that angle.
Leds, bit odd the Miranda one. They'll make good money on him, but enough to break up the best CB partnership in La Liga and arguably one of the best in European football right now?
First thought was they wouldn't meet Miranda's wages demands, but from what I've been able to gather (from admittedly unreliable sites), it seems he's going to be on vitrually the same money at Inter.
All I can imagine is that the club wants to cash in and Simeone wants to make way for Giménez.
Giménez has shown great promise whenever I've watched him. I don't know enough about up-and-coming young CBs, but if the amount of hype surrounding Varane serves as a yardstick, then Giménez is criminally underrated.
Still, it leaves Atleti seriously short in the CB department though, so they'll surely be looking to bring another CB in.

Yes I couldn't quite understand the Miranda sale, although Simeone is a big fan of Gimenez. I think someone on the Atleti board said about a month ago that they "were counting on" Alderweireld for next season although there are rumours of a Felipe Luis/Alderweireld swap deal.
