Dark Art icle

In the wake of the violence that I saw meted out by Uruguay on the Chilean players and how Alexis Sanchez is still walking today, I will never know - it has got me wondering :

Imagine it is September 1st and the transfer window is shut.

And the very next day Messi is taken out in a double footed tackle from behind, shattering an Achilles and putting him out for the season..
Would Barcelona still walk the title?
Definitely not.

Which brings me closer to home. We are in the interesting position of being quite far away from being a one man team.

Whereas a season ending injury (after Sept 1st) within the following teams would end their hopes of a trophy.

Chelsea - Hazard

Man City - Aguero

Arsenal - Sanchez

Which has also got me thinking will the game become so dark that a team/manager/individual could act on this?

Haven't watched the game but I've read that Edison Cavani was sent off for reacting to a Chile player sticking his finger up Cavani's árse. What was he supposed to do? I think if I was Cavani I'd be locked up now for my reaction to that. Surprised there weren't more sendings off if those were the 'dark arts' taking place. 'Brown Arts' would be more apt.

He didn't stick his thumb up his arsse. He just smacked it, then Cavani gave him a little tap on the face and he dropped quicker than a scousers bank balance on dole day.

Yes homosexuality isn't illegal but I'm pretty sure rape is.

Unless Cavani wanted to get fingered on a football pitch? I'm pretty sure he didnt.
