I recently bought or rather re-bought Call of Duty: World at War because quite honestly I was getting sick of the multiplayer on Advanced Warfare and how you get killed far too easily on it.
So went back to World at War as it was one of the earlier Call of Duty games that I'd rather neglected and didn't play as much as I should have.
I'm glad I did because it's brilliant and the multiplayer is so much better than the drab and generic multiplayer on Advanced Warfare.
Only problem is that in the last couple of days there have been loads of problems on World at War multiplayer. It seems to have been totally sabotaged by hackers. Some games are at lightning speed, other games have players literally flying around and on some games you have invincible players who you can't kill.
Also there is this annoying scripting all over the screen in every multiplayer game.
So I was wondering is this normal on World at War now ? Has it been like this for a while or is it a new thing? Does anyone here even still play World at War multiplayer?

Can't you choose to look for games without the DLC pack ? I seem to remember that function on BOPs 1.

The thing is on WAW I'm constantly getting kicked from games because I don't have the new maps so I assume most people who play it do have the DLC's.

I'm sure they could moderate these games quite easily but choose not to just so you have to buy the next gen game or console.
Personally that just makes me even more determined to dig my feet in and keep playing my PS3 as long as possible.

Absolutely the best call of duty online game.
but i cant understand why people are still hacking this game...what enjoyment is there.
i still play team deathmatch but its been horribly overrun by modders....

Was easily the best online experience when it was in it's prime.
I used to love the fact that the bonuses you got from the guns was limited.
Was you had unlocked all the stuff on the guns it made you want to change to another to do the same.
Now you can just keep the same fun for a whole prestige cause you have to do so much to max it out.
BO is by far a better experience for zombies though.
Releasing a map pack with all the original maps on it on release was genius and made bo so much fun for zombie players.
Although the zombie multi gun glitch was always fun

Absolutely none apart from knowing that they're ruining it for everyone else. No lifers with serious self-esteem issues I'd imagine.
