A fairly comfortable game then, I doubt Freedman has learnt much other than needing to keep hold of Antonio. We'll see what the match report has to say about Maynard.

That's put a bit more of a positive slant on things. Looked like pretty much a full strength line up. Agree that Antonio is the beating heart of Forest's creativity. Would be a big loss if he is sold...

No news on Antonio's injury, Paul Taylor said it didn't look too serious, so he should be OK in a few days, hopefully. If I was Fawaz I'd promise him as much money as he could eat as soon as the embargo is lifted.

It's always nice to win, even in friendlies, regardless of the opposition. I hope this puts the Swedish tour into perspective, as those games were purely about fitness, Freedman wasn't trying out formations or lineups, he just wanted everyone in the squad to get minutes on the pitch.

Also, it's nice to have the yellow and blue back, it's been such a long, long time. Let's hope it proves to be lucky again.
