Never really observed Trippier's defending, but it would be interesting to see how his attacking game fits into Spurs' system. The guy delivers an incredible amount of crosses (plus took Burnley's set-pieces too). This made him the most creative fullback last season with Baines, but made him the least efficient passer in the division, averaging about 60% pass completion. For a team of cloggers like Burnley who want to attack crosses, he suits them perfectly. For a top tier team who want to keep the ball, he would be too wasteful in possession, putting the team on the backfoot. I don't think he'll displace a fit walker.

So true. Walker often plays the man and not the ball. He's obviously beefed up a bit and wants to throw his weight around. Stick to defending the ball and stop acting the big man and you might find your form back...

Walker's problems stem from his lack of concentration and the belief that he's better than he actually is.

Remember the liverpool game away a few years back with gareth bale when we i believe we lost 3-2? Walker messed that game up for Us with a ridiculous pass back and this is the kind of errors he does on to many occasions
