The Times have revealed that manager Mauricio Pochettino, who worked with Lambert at Southampton, is interested in taking the 33-year-old as backup for Harry Kane.
I'm not quite sure how to feel about this? I'd much rather us take a punt on Balotelli if we're taking a Liverpool reject.
Lambert at 3 million?

I see Caulker has got himself a loan deal to Southampton. I would suggest that having been relegated 2 years in a row a season in the Championship is what he deserves.

I want competition for places not squad filler. This will not do.

Only good enough to be 3rd choice striker, and at no more than £2m, if Levy leaves us with Lambert as back up to Kane I will be seriously pist off

Looking at the squad against MLS it is difficult to see were the goals are going to come from this season so desperately need some one

If its a choice between Kane and Soldado, or Kane and Lambert, give me Lambert any day of the week.
Would I be delighted, no.
Would I take him now if it meant another top forward definitely coming in, probably yes

Lambert just no. If he wasn't good enough for Liverpool last season, he isn't good enough for us! Balotelli are you having a giraffe?!? Hell NO!
