Scott Allan was told he could leave if an offer came in from a bigger club. Considering the bid that's causing all the fuss came from a team that has yet to finish higher than Hibs cant see what all the shouting is about

In all honesty he is a Rangers fan so who wouldn't have aspirations to represent their club?
On the flip side, Hibs have said he can leave for a big club but regardless of what Rangers fans think right now they are still a Championship club and until they are ahead of Hibs then why would Hibs sell to a rival - not a bigger club.

Surely the bigger club argument is redundant? After all as Ivan has said in a earlier post the biggest bid Hibs have received for Allen is from Dundee United. That bid was rejected as not big enough. So until Rangers put in a bid that meets Hibs valuation the whole verbal agreement to sell is surely a moot point?
