New homefront looks nice, but all the others did, and were pants. Nice coop mode it seems also - one to watch

I actually really liked Homefront. It actually looks more like a Space battle than anything done before, or since really. I suppose you could count Eve but even so for a 3d space RTS Homefront was pretty extraordinary for its time.

Cross play and lots of games that would be both on windows and xbone. Also yes there was streaming similar to steam.

When you say cross platform, you don't mean games where Xbone players are against PC do you?

it is an option, there was talk of allowing pc mods on the xbox once it has windows 10

I can't think of many game types where a PC user wouldn't have an advantage though over an Xbox user. Not just because in the main the controls on a mouse/keyboard are far superior to controller but simply because the PC will always be further ahead than a console in terms of tech.

Yep Cross-plat as Xbone and PC, think it will still be down to the developer but yeh some things especially mmos it seems will be real cross platform stuff, and since basically the Xbone and PS4s are standarised gaming PCs i dont see too mcuh of an issue, it would just be if control or mouse and keyboard are a better control method, although both M$ and Sony are backing mice and gaming boards so we shall see

My friend you are confusing homefront (average FPS) and i think homeworld (space rts)

Sorry you are quite right Simon, Homeworld actually got a remastered version of both 1 & 2 recently and I am thinking of picking it up.

Homefront was pants...

For me MMO's wouldn't work in PvP as PCs should have an advantage in reality. PvE it probably doesn't matter.

FPS games are a non starter, mouse and keyboard are just too good. games like D3 it could maybe work but I have heard all this before from MS and it never happens, because they recognise that PCs are able to do much more, in less time. Even in RTS terms the pro players will have such high apm that cannot be replicated on a console.
