Nottingham Forest are without midfielder Robert Tesche, who suffered a suspected broken foot in the defeat against Brighton, but defender Kelvin Wilson is available after suspension. Youngsters Tyler Walker, Roger Riera, Jorge Grant and Oliver Burke will be hoping to play some part in the game.
Former Walsall star Jamie Paterson will also be hoping to take part.
Ben Osborn (shoulder) is expected to be fit next week but Matty Fryatt (Achilles), Chris Cohen (knee) and Andy Reid (groin) remain a few weeks away.
Walsall could be unchanged following their opening-day draw with Oldham.
However, Milan Lalkovic and Kieron Morris are both pushing to start.

Good interview, I just hope this is the kick we need to make the necessary changes and progress. Who thinks fox played his last game tonight? How was lichaj as well?
Give Riera a chance

Super, it's just words. The actions won't match what he said.
He criticised the defence but 3 of the back 4 will start on Saturday.
He praised Olly Burke, but he won't start on Saturday.

If the only change he makes is to drop Fox than I'd be happy with that!

Just phoned bro-in-law and asked him to put a tenner on Walsall for me. 100/30, couldn't resist. With Manc and Vaughan as our midfield powerhouse what chance do we have?
Already I'm thinking I should have put more on.

So how much did you win? About £60?

Watched the "highlights", and it was never a penalty. The Walsall guy just threw himself to the ground! Also, Antonio's goals were worth the £20 ticket price. He backheeled his second harder than some players can kick a ball!

I'd have thought about £35 + my stake; not sure how it works that's why I asked Bro to do it. I'll see him pre match on Saturday, might back against them again - it eases the pain a bit. He'll want a pint no doubt, unless he put some on too which if he did he'd have put a fair wedge on

I don't agree that players are past it. It's about being able to motivate them and have tactical nous. A decent manager could get these players playing good football. Chris Burke for example is a top player in thid league.

Fox needs to go, however didn't he sign a new contract, or a extension when SP came in?
The player I think he is criticising is Wilson. He has just come back to Nottm for a last payday. The drawfe simply bought him on the strength of the player he had been. How did he pass a medical with that back injury of his? He needs to be off loaded, he was a liability last season.
We should have kept the big dutchman and turned him into a centre half.

I have to say after watching the hi-lights on player that it was a very soft penalty . I'm not sure that Wilson even touched him. he just threw himself into the air and the ref' bought it. He seemed very lenient toward some of Walsalls strong arm tactics.
However it has to be said that we were never in the midfield battle, they were getting time and space on the ball.
How De Vries didn't catch the cross for the first goal I'm not sure. Midfield and defence just looked disorganised and that includes the keeper.

Veldwijk was a rabbit in the headlights whoever the ball was in the air to be won. He would be a disaster as a defender!!
