would be a decent signing. probs is he is Chelsea's 3rd/4th CB and they would want more back-up if we buy.

why not......they are not scared of us anymore....no one is.....so they will sell.....

Alex and Vermaelen looks like a good partnership in the making.

If we could keep him fit, Vermaelen and Alex sounds a good partnership.

Trouble is, we've enough availabilty issues with TV. Do we need another semi-perminantly crooked CB?

And even if we could keep him fit, would he want to come to us?

And even if we could keep him fit and he wanted to come to us, with our apparent lack of defensive coaching skills, would he make a huge difference to our porous backline anyway?
