What the hell is "Star Wars"?

To be fair Simon it doesn't really interest me either, this would appeal to the Star Wars fans and with the movie out around the same time, there will be plenty of people interested.

From a marketing perspective this is a pretty big deal

I mean the design is pretty poor, i have seen some really good ps4s but that honestly looks like a bad school project, just the fact that vadar has a blue line right through the side of his head imo is poor design, so much potential for a real good star wars box as well with a light sabre like line naturally on the box.

I like the controller though and the fact its like the vadar chest plate, that at least is cool

Yes well I see what you're saying, but the people and kids this will interest will not be so critical, to be honest I prefer just a simple black console, I don't need all this stuff stuck all over it.

But then again I'm not theitr target audience.

I'm a huge Stars Wars fan, but that just looks crap.

Looking to get battlefront on the ps4. Is the game as good as battlefront 1 and 2?

No one really know mate - seems to be very Marmite with Joe public, mixture of its a bf with star wars, to its amazing so star wars. Journalists I get the opinion of a 75/25 split on favour of its amazing, but I also get this is more they want it to be amazing and the short amount of time they play it ticks all the right nostalgia buttons. Can't argue with the fact presentation looks fantastic. I in general am getting a titanfall vibe from it, and feel it will review well but maybe lack replayability in the long run.

Nice summary there of what I was thinking as well. It seems to be a bit of a split but I have to say as a Star Wars fan it can't be that bad even if it is BF with a Star Wars gloss right?

Im really looking forward to it, as both a star wars and battlefield fan this looks amazing, and having enjoyed both BF4 and Hardline but due to time restrictions never bought this looks like the perfect time to get into a dice shooter.
