End of the Window

Now that both the loans from Arsenal and Chelsea are off, and it looks like Eustace wont be coming after all,who do we think Warburton will bring in before the end of the window?

IMO we are still in need of a striker and more importantly a holding midfielder, i still think 1 or 2 will go as well it will be interesting to see who comes in. The Stevie May rumour wont go away but that is about the only one doing the rounds just now.

Any of yous heard anything different?

Defensive mid, striker and full back cover is needed.

Punt Bell MacGregor, Templeton and Aird as a minimum.

I don't think any position is an actual priority
It would be nice to have some added cover and Im surprised nobody has mentioned the full back positions.

Aird seems to be marked out as cover for Tav and you could also put McGregor in there

On the left we are very short should Lee get injured though strangely Law played there on a couple of occasions.

The calls for a holding mid are pretty symptomatic of us Rangers fans
We are so used to this tactic we struggle to see its really not needed often and certainly not in league games.

Some teams are even playing with 2 in this position.

Perhaps when playing a top 6 team it would be useful but with a bit more time Halliday will be fine and cups are not much of a priority anyway.

As far as strikers are concerned Wagy will come good he has to much ability not to hit a scoring run soon and Clarke and Hardie can cover as required.

as we saw mid week with 5 changes we do have lots of options as it stands.

Oh and I see Sunday is sold out

we are indeed The People

I think we should offer Stubbs a job.

Zelalem is now back in Scotland, suggesting a loan to Rangers could still happen. Quite a saga developing now.

The reason we should go for Waghorn is, that type of player works in our system therefore if he gets injured we need a ready replacement. We need a similair player to step into that role... I also think that as i said May could play the main striker role and Waghorn could move into Mckays role, i think we would be a stronger team like that.

I think that's unfair on McKay. He's been great so far this season and done nothing to warrant being dropped.

I liked Andy Murdoch last season and felt he could fit into the team this year, however if you look at how McKay has benefitted from a season on loan then it might be best to do the same with Murdoch.

Rumours are that Zelalem has now signed. We'll see.
