Rtn of the studge plus its looking good.

Studge is back in training, this is a guy who has 40 goals in 60 odd appearances and will join (sooner or later) benteke who has a 1:2 scoring rate , these will probably be supported by coutinho and firmino who as a pair create, score and generally occupy defenders; its not too shabby at all from where I am watching.

Hopefully we will see studge on Saturday, maybe for 10-15 minutes, if thats the case then wouldn't surprise me if he scored, be interesting to see how BR manages to integrate all these attacking players. Pretty sure they will all start once fit enough, maybe like this:

.......................Mignolet. ....................
Clyne......Skrtel. ........Lovren. .....Gomez
..........Henderson...........Milner...............
.........................Firmino.........................
Sturridge........Benteke. ........Coutinho

For W Ham this weekend:

.......................Mignolet. ....................
Clyne......Skrtel. ........Lovren. .....Gomez
...................Can.........Lucas...............
..........................Milner.......................
.......Firmino...................Coutinho
........................Benteke. .......................

Injured: Lallana...Allen..Flanagan...Sakho (?)

Hopefully we can keep the run going, no goals conceeded and stick a few in the old onion bag.

Looking forward to the return of studge. When fit hes easily the best forward England have. be interesting to see how Brendan fits him in with Benetke.

He will send another promising player out on loan no doubt

Bad fortune stopped us beating them. I cant see you lot keeping out 20+ shots tbf.

How many shots did you have against Spurs and Villa. Very few.

Against Newcastle, who you failed to beat, and a side from the Belgian league.

We had 15 odd shots against Arsenal, means fack all unless you put the ball in the net. Are you hafi in disguise?

we did this plenty midweek

I have no such concerns about beating you.

I really dont know what a game against newcastle, has to do with a game against you lot anyway

It shows that sides, even sides of the quality of Newcastle, can get a result at OT. We are better than Newcastle, so we have a chance.

We'd be stupid to start Sturridge on the wing, if he's to play it would either be with Benteke or instead of him.

4-2-2-2 would work if they spend time on the training ground on the new formation.
