A very good article based on the Moneyball/sabermetrics principles John Henry/FSG have introduced at Liverpool football club since they took over. Principles that Damien Comolli also supports (which may explain his being offered his current role) as he is friends with Billy Beane the former general manager of Oakland A's who successfully applied these principles in baseball. When applying the principles our signings this summer do seem to make a lot more sense. When you combine that with Kenny's knowledge of the game...well, who knows, lets wait and see.
