Anyone read or heard about this?
Seems like after you get through all the mumbo jumbo its just the players wanting more cash..........
Would it be a benefit to clubs or a hindrance?
Thoughts?
Fifpro legal action

I think it would be great for football.
However let's be honest the big money clubs have the final say so and they won't like it.
Or
They go for it and players wages go up taking them further away from us commoners

Start, middle and end of this will all be down to the "Big" clubs
If the don't want it, it wont happen, fibta as a stand alone sport is fcked, it is now just as much about fimamce/business as it is about the physical aspect
Poor show that imo but I am an aulder generation fan so perhaps am missing something from this?

that's risk they take, its also risk Chelsea would be taking in paying so much for a relatively untested player

and if Stones form doesn't dip, they sell him for the over inflated fee they think he is worth
the ideas mooted on here will never work, just annoys me that clubs demand ridiculous fees for players but don't reciprocate it with a contract that reflects their evaluation

Dennis,
I totally agree with you.
I'm sure Stones in on a very low relative income to more established players, so if Everton value him at £40M+ It only makes sense that it should be reflected in his monthly wedge. Whether his form dips or not it's Everton's valuation.

So say a Rangers player in the future is playing some of the best football on the planet and is winning awards left right an centre.
Are you honestly telling me you'd be happy to do yourselves out of money by valuing him lower than he's worth, purely because you can't afford to pay him hundreds of thousands per week.. Which is what he would be on at a richer club?
What a load of bull.

Rangers have never been able to hold onto a player when silly money has been offered
that theory would only apply if we were offered silly money for a relatively low paid first team player and we refused it then didn't offer said player an improved contract

So if Rangers valued a player at £15m and an English club were willing to match it, and give said player £60k per week as that is what he is worth, but Rangers didn't sell him.. You'd be happy at being forced to pay that player 60k per week as that is what he's worth.. and that's what he's missed out on by not being sold?
