Going out of it.......how fussed would you be?
I love the CL knockout stages, been some of the best nights at the Emirates there, just a much better atmosphere and the games are more enjoyable, so I think I'd definitely miss that, always something I look forward to after Xmas.
Could it be a blessing in disguise if we did finish 4th in the group though? We'd take a lot of criticism in the media, and rightly so, but having only the FA Cup and League after January could work right into our hands.
Our first XI is very good, as usual, but not convinced about our strength in depth if we get mid/long term injuries to the likes of Walcott or Sanchez. Could "do a Liverpool" and finish the season very strongly if we keep our key attackers fit and sharp in the second half of the season.
Absolutely torn on the Europa. In some ways it would be good because it's a European competition we could, in theory, actually win - however there is a feeling of inevitability of dropping into it - 4/6 extra games, knocked out by the first half decent team we meet, collapse of form in Feb/March.

Lado in the last 10 years Arsenal have been closer to winning the champions league then the premierleague.

Yes, because Prem was a force then...SAF, Jose in prime, Ronaldo...etc. the weight of stadium debt..makign Arsenal a selling team.
Now things have turned, Baryern, Real and Barca are untouchable..at least for couple of seasons...while as Prem once dominated CL is in rebuilding process..Man U is weaker, Chelsea too, Man City not consistent, Liverpool have fallen to new lows, other teams are okay..
Arsenal have serious chance at PL without other distractions tbh.

Arsenal have gone backwards from last season. You may have beaten us 3-0 but that was flattering scoreline as we gifted you first 2 goals and you got a lucky break of the ball for 3rd goal. Last season you played ,icj netter om defeat.

Arsenal if you look at past has always been the better team but lost the match..so beating Man U with so called "luck" is something new to this Arsenal team..which will only make Arsenal's chances better...You see Arsenal is acquiring winner's mentality it has always lacked.
Arsenal are certainly better than last season..All of our player has improved..add Cech to that list..The current Arsenal team would batter Arsenal team of last year.

Arsenal only signed Cech. You could argue Sanchez won't be as good as he was last year.

Firstly, its another ridiculous statement that Arsenal need 7 - 8 new players to compete for the title.
Secondly, Arsenal do not throw money at the problem..yes our fans want couple of signing 1 ST and 1 CM to be precise no more...that is enough for Arsenal to compete in all front..
But with current team, without CL as distraction Arsenal has serious chance of winning the title..
Also, I wonder where this "much better in defeat" comes from because Arsenal slaughtered Man U that game could have had more than 5 goals easily..hit the bar twice or something as well.
You seem to not want Arsenal to focus on Prem..and the reason is underlying FEAR that you know Arsenal are very capable of winning the title if :
1) Arsenal are not playing other matches leading to fatigue and injury..(CL...etc.)
