Hi,
I am competing in a local swimming gala this weekend and for the two races that i am in, i have been drawn in the lane nearest the spectator gallery of the pool. I was wondering if any swimmers out there could recommend good swimwear that will not only enhance my performance in the water but also look good whilst i'm poolside. Any suggestions on brands[spedo etc] styles [thong, tanga thong etc], or materials would be great.

I assume that this is so naff that it must be a total wind-up, so I would suggest a pair of concrete flippers in a colour that match both your bathing suit and the pool tiles. That would make it more difficult to find you when you are lying on the bottom of the pool.
