Two More Offers To Be Made ......

I'm sure there will be plenty more names thrown in over the next 24 hours but we have made two undisclosed bids for Jason Roberts (rumour has it that it's just over 1million and have offered a 2 yr deal) and Rade Prica (somehwere around 1.7 million euros - another 2 yr deal).

Roberts, wouldn't mind ... we were linked to him when SGE first arrived, he's hardly a spring chicken and with his media role on 606 might be less than 100% but i reckon he'd bag one or two for us.
Rade Prica, don't know much about him but know he was at Sunderland for a largely unsuccessful spell. Currently at Rosenbourg, not sure he's really what we need.

We need an all round striker if you ask me - not just a poacher, not just a goalscorer, not just a sprinter, not just a big man.

According to Jonny Fordham a journo for the Reading Post you guys have bid £4 million for Jimmy Kebe. He only has a year left on his contract we've offered a new deal but it's been on the table for ages and he doesn't seem any closer to signing so you may get him. Although he would prefer a move back to France I don't think that will be forth coming.

We should try and get Ormondroyd and Gee back!

Kebe - yes please.

But you can keep the other two.

BiscuitBeale - would be sorry to see him go? Is he as inconsistent as some outsiders percieve him to be?

No I think that, like any player, he has off days but not many. I think the perception of him being hit and miss is because when he first joined Reading he wasnt great. He showed enough to know he could be great with some work but he wasn't brilliant straight away. The Reading training staff put in the work required with him and now he's brilliant. He still has off days but when he's on he's one of, if not the best winger in the championship. His pace is unbelievable people say Camara who was a WBA last season was fast but Kebe left him for dead in a race down the wing.

If we sell him to you you'll obviously get angry Reading fans telling you he's inconsistent but that'll just be frustration that we sold him.

He has a very different persona to Mills who is loud and talks to much and says stuff he shouldn't. Jimmy is quiet he does his talking on the pitch (sorry for the cliché. If you get him he could be the missing piece of your puzzle.

Jonny Fordham has said there will be ins and outs at Reading tomorrow and that 2 players have asked to leave. Most fans expect that's Howard and Marcus Williams but one of them may be Kebe. It'd be a shame if he does want to leave but as in the case of Long, Doyle, Sidwell, Shorey....etc etc. He served us well and I won't be mad at the guy for going.

Hang on a minute haven't Reading already mugged us with the Mills deal? They'd have got some serious wonga off us if this goes through!

Cheers mate

We really haven't a clue what's going on, today alone we've been linked with about 25 players but no one can say if we are likely to get any of them, and new names just keep popping uo every hour. There were strong reports taht we'd submitted a bid for Kebe, then who knows if Sven is even interested or if he's just trying to lever another deal.

I hope we get him because we really need a winger despitemost of the attention being on the striker search.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season (though not too much eh )

Yeh but this time the player is worth the valuation. We ripped you off with mills but Kebe is worth £4 million.

Every side will try and rip you off because they know you have the money.

Very true, I only wished our owners had realised this at the start of the summer before broadcasting their intentions to everyone!
