... but I haven't asked anything more"
Or words to that effect.
Klopp really seems dead set on fuelling his team on passion and belief. Bringing back Stevie G would certainly help him out in that respect. I think it's for the best he isn't brought in to a playing role as I don't think he'll have the legs for it, especially after spending a year playing in the MLS.
This got me onto Google and I came across a couple of other articles.

"Gerrard can train with us...

Not sure I want Gerrard around the team to be honest. Don't get me wrong Gerrard was and will always be a LFC Legend, however I think we just need to make a fresh start with Klopp.
He could influence the team in a negative way if we have a couple of bad results. It's like going back out with an ex-girlfriend, it very rarely works out.

Having Gerrard training with the players will be a good boost for them. Also it should be up to him whether he wants to train at the club or not, he has earned it.

He will train but thats it. He is a legend of the club but we have to move forward. He has to do his badges and go and prove somewhere else if he wants to be a manager.
I am happy with Klopp now and he will improve our style and add new quality players.

I'm happy to leave it up to Klopp what's good or bad for the squad, I'm sure he knows what he's doing.
As for him playing for us again, I think Klopp's best- placed to evaluate that, too. (As far as I can tell, Gerrard's contract doesn't allow for it, anyway)

Imagine having Gerrard in the training session the day after you've had a bad game.
You'd be shy to put the cones and bibs out!

Always a good idea to have past legends around the club, you are a fool if dont use them.

Absolutely.
Stevie Heighway is back and all.
