If he was lucky he was given options.
Chances are he was told those two were available.
He wouldn't have identified them. He wouldn't have scouted them.

The only players Jackie didn't sign were McKay and Taggart. The chairman made those signings.

And by the way...gross stupidity to slabber on all week about Simu's injury. An open invitation to the opposing team to give hima wee early dig.....and what happened?

If he didn't sign them then more fool him for allowing himself to be judged on players he didn't have any input in signing.
