The majority of fans I speak to and read about want Bates out of our club and protesting doesn't work as we have already seen.
The ONLY way to get this fool out is to boycott the games altogether. If he sees attendances drop then his position as chairman must surely be untenable.
I know what your response will be " we must get behind the team" blah blah blah but how bad does it have to get before you all realise something drastic has to be done before we find ourselves in a dog fight to stay in the division because if any of you think that we will challenge for promotion this or in the next few seasons then I say that you are deluded.
We fail to keep our best players and we can't even compete with the likes of Bristol City in terms of wages and with all due respect to Bristol City we are a much bigger club.
The only way to resolve this is to vote with your feet and hurt Bates where he will feel it... in his pocket!

Agreed Eddie, more and more ad hoc fans are staying away either due to ticket pricing, travel costs or Bates.
Organising something is what would happen next.

jw i take it you have a rich buyer for the club lined up, why dont you get him to contact Bates directly,
boycotting the games will only hurt the team not Bates, he has his own money, we only spend money made by the club, the less money the club the less money spent on the club.
not very bright are you

what about season ticket holders? Miss a couple of games and theres no point having 1

Can i ask if the person(s) suggesting this and endorsing it as a good idea are in possession of a season ticket at £500+ per season? If the answer is yes, then i applaud you for your determination. If not then it's not the greatest show of support for the club, and a pretty easy call to make when you've got no money invested in it.
I for one don't have an issue with the argument and desire to see an alternate owner of the club (but i'm also cautious of what we may get in exchange!!!) - but boycotting games hurts no one but the team and the fans who've already forked out a fortune to attend.
Which match do you suggest we all not turn up to ? The Manyure match? sorry, but i'll be disloyal here - i've registered for autocup games, i'm not just chucking away either the money nor the opportunity to see that game.
I'm sorry to say it, but no one seems interested (in the slightest) in taking on our club. Thats not disloyal, just a realistic take on things.
I'm really, really gutted to see another valuable player about to leave (if it happens - as i suspect it will). However, i've still witnessed enough in the first few games to believe we'll be okay in this league. Sendings off are the issue - they've cost us up to 6 points already this season. Both games we were in control, until the madness set in (and Gradel was being mad!!!). Against Hull and West Ham, we played well.
I just hope we've got some good acquisitions lined up to replace Max - using the money generated (which of course will be undisclosed as normal).
Don't buy programmes, don't buy food, don't buy merchandise - but don't not support the team. Thats the last thing we need.

4ever, hear what you;re saying.
I would say a televised game that way at least st holders could see the game, but unfortunately it's no pain no gain in this situation.
Boycotting a match in big numbers sends a big noticeable message.
boycotting merchandise is slower and less impactful.
There is no easy pain free answer to this I'm afraid.
But something has to change if we don't want to see our club held back to the point where our expectations are no longer that we aspire to be in the top divsion.

Bates dosen't care about us, he allegedly makes his money from the rent from ER & TA, so don't give a toss about us at all. he is sitting pretty KERCHING !!! SO even if we sell he must sell the bits he owns too but as with Chelski he has kept hold of the Penthouse suite which p1sses off Bramo immencely.
Bates out
