Why are so many on his board so quick to call him a failure and a waste of money?
His form hasn't been great but he's playing in a different country in a different standard of league. It's going to take him some time to settle.
I can recall how poor Vidic and Evra were during the opening months of their Utd careers. Thank god SAF had the patience to let their talents emerge and we got to witness two modern day legends.
The lad is talented. And he will come good. Please have some patience.
That's the Utd way. Letting the cream rise to the top!

The attitudes that need adjusting are those of the supporters of teams in the English Premier League.
The demand for everything yesterday is bewildering and the absolute lack of patience shows the utter lack of understanding of how the game works. Teams need to built and developed and players need time to adjust, but supporters are less and less inclined to give them that time. It's shambolic.

I personally cannot understand how anyone can write off a player at his age with the ability he has.
He is one that will come good, just needs the right management

Far from written him off, I was hugely excited by the boy though and what I've seen so far bears no resemblance what I saw of him pre-Utd (Bruges/ PSV games aside).
Struggling with the pace of the PL, I'm hopeful he can turn it around but I wouldn't say I'm confident.

His problem is trying to beat players from a standing position. If he learns to pick the ball up on the run and beat players with skill AND pace, he'll be fine.
Similar to Ronaldo who thought his skill alone was enough but started to fail until it all clicked into place.
