Sapiens

By Yuval Noah Harari.

Anyone reading/read this? Remarkable book. Top on amazon atm. About our species from prehistory to the future, and how we create complex social structures based on shared stories such as religion and money.

Felt like I learnt something new or experienced a different perspective on every single page.

Dont be that guy that reads one book and feels the need to shout about it.

It actually sounds interesting though, might pick it up.

I watched an interview with the author and he spoke with the most wonderful clarity and candour so much so that i had to buy the book.

If you've only read 1 book then you might want to start with something less meta.

Having been reading a lot of iain m banks lately this is something of a step down in terms of 'meta-ness'
