"Such has been Hull City's fine form in their own backyard that Friday brings the opportunity to make a little bit of history. Avoid defeat against promotion rivals Derby County and the Tigers will set a new record for games unbeaten at the KC Stadium. City have now gone 12 home games unbeaten in all competitions."
Meanwhile, on the South Coast, the Seagulls of Brighton will attempt to stretch their unbeaten start to 18 matches against sixth-placed Birmingham at the Amex on Saturday and 19 when they take on Charlton the week after. If they manage this, they will arrive at Pride Park on the verge of a 20 match unbeaten run.
We have a history of breaking runs over the years - normally, we let teams end their losing runs. How sweet it would be if we could end both these runs.
Time to wreck some records

Tall men are crap at football. Crouch included.

Time to repeat my favourite Crouch quote.
Interviewer: "What would you have been if you hadn't been a footballer?"
Crouch: "Single."
I'm tall. I'm off to Hull tomorrow. It therefore stands to reason that we will win as my excessive height means success in everything I do. That's how it works. Apparently.

1 record wrecked, possilby a scratched 45. Time to break some 78s and bend the 33s. Most people under 40 wont know what the hell I am on about.

The first record I ever bought was Jailhouse Rock by the other king. They asked me if I wanted a 78 or a 45, I looked at both and bought the 78 as it seemed better value as it was much bigger.
I've still got it but I haven't got a record player that will play 78s.
