If this incident is indicative of any section of our fans, then I am deeply saddened. It just struck a chord when reading it and maybe by posting a link, I'm just highlighting the issue, when it may have just disappeared in a couple of days.
Sorry, no place for this at the iPro. 🙁

I've always found it prudent, that when critizing other people for spelling errors check your own before posting
Oh and it's fish.

Well done Burton and I don't criticise spelling, it's the "would of" which really grates on me. I did also spell crede like that on purpose as distinct from the incorrect modern version because that is how it should be spelled.

Probably. Iwas.
If you look at old documents there is no standard spelling. For example Shakespeare used several different spellings for his name, none of which were Shakespeare. It was only the age of empire which brought in uniform spelling and grammar as different parts of the empire needed to communicate with each other without being misunderstood. They had so many variations of spelling to chose from which is why we have such an eccentric language.
Caxton, the first printer was responsible for some of our strange spellings as we was the first to mass produce words in English.
