This has to be one of the most tiresome excuses trotted out in defence of Ronny.
"He has modernised Celtic's fitness"
Eh?
There are fewer lazy players in the Celtic first-team but in what way has he revolutionised our fitness? All that says is Lennon was sloppy when it came to players being fit- he got away with it in honesty because Stokes, Hooper and Commons were arguably our main goal threats in the league during his time in charge.
Wasn't the Celtic captain lying on the street sozzled under this brutal fitness regime?
Carlton Cole still looks overweight. Ciftci looks fatter than he was with Dundee United.
It's really just a tiresome excuse for people who don't know what they're talking about. They can't back-up this 'Ron the Moderniser' argument other than quoting Deila's bull.
Ronny is a fraud. The utter garbage that comes out of his mouth is embarrassing for a man who has dragged our reputation through the gutter.
And even if this 'modernisation' myth did happen to be true, he's not a facking PE teacher, that's no reason to keep an utter failure who is holding us back.

I said it months ago that RD was a charlatan..not the good kinda music band but a real charlatan..infact Ronnie looks fatter now under his own fitness and nutrition regime.
