Hello everybody:-

STATE OF ADDRESS JA606DCFC 2015

This year’s PotY seems to have stirred up a bit of fire and more intensity than usual. Posters new and old alike are gripped in an smorgasbord froth of speculation, angst, back stabbing and bitterness to rival the ancient empires of Rome…..or something….

Main event of the year was of course the departure of Steve McClaren to the highly successful and innovative Newcastle United leaving us to appoint a relative unknown in the form of a number 2. Derby have slipped into oblivion and can only eye enviously the success story currently unfolding on the Dark Side of the 52.

Articles, though to my untutored eye seem to have been posted by less posters but have certainly been of even higher quality even if some struggle to understand the nuances and subtlety of many intelligent, quirky articles.

Exiles have kept the Derby County threads going and without the contributions of those in Scotland, Spain, Thailand, Ireland, East Anglia, New Zealand and the USA, this board would die a slow agonising death. We salute you

We still have regular contributors but with sadness we see many have fallen off the grid (see below) into the great infinity of non-internet Where are they?

Back to the voting. I ain’t changed it. There have been talk of ‘Auks Awards’ but I will leave that to better people than me to organise.

To those of you uninitiated in the ways of JADCFCPoTY, you get 3 preferential votes.
1st, 2nd, 3rd.

1st gets 3 points, 2nd 2 points and 3rd 1 point.
(PLEASE NOTE POINT 7 and not have the shenanigans of last year )

1/ We are going for the AV system, (as I have just pointed out) - you have 3 votes in order of preference 1, 2, and 3.

2/ First choice = 3 points, second choice = 2 points and 3rd choice = 1 point
