Time for me to go. At my wife's best friends dads funeral this afternoon.

More to life and all that.

Have a good day everyone and I hope you all get what you wish for this evening

Jonty - Cellino is justified if we have already exceeded our quota and revenues are down as a result of televised home games.
Not to mention the away fixture changes affecting away fans. Ah, but that doesn't affect you does it.

Ticket prices are why gates are down.

Preston at home the other week, NOT on sky, 22k. Which is dreadful and absolutely nothing to do with sky.

"'ve always said clubs are better off charging £10 for 20000 fans to attend rather than charging £20 for 10k fans"

If only it worked that way.

"Cellino is justified if we have already exceeded our quota and revenues are down as a result of televised home games. "

While he may have a valid point, that does not justify his action which is a breach of contract.

No empirical evidence that televising affects the gate and if so by how much. Nevertheless, Sky compensates the club arguably more than the lost revenue.

How many fewer fans do you think attend Leeds televised games?

If at the last minute sky didn't turn up and FL refused to give Cellino to money he'd be fuming.

Ban lifted.
Does Cellino know?

Me thinks just a touch of petulance on behalf of BIG C, just to blunt Skys nose, well done that man. Too many jump the gun. I don't think he ver had the intention of not allowing them in just a bluff hahhaaaaaaa

Me thinks if he's pulling their plonker it could be a very dangerous pull!..

Sky could have said oh, hey, we'll see you in court!..

That would have been one hell of a gun jump!..

I think Cellino took heed to the warnings he got, and someone will more than likely be coming back at him a little stronger come the New Year, because it'd look fine if Sky banned all games that Leeds are involved in, I mean, the loss of revenue for other clubs, lets hope Sky cant do that because if they can, it could mean Leeds facing a lot more law suits from clubs losing out!..

I think friends he might think he has in the football world will be looking the other way, mind you, that won't trouble him much because I don't think he has to many!..

I am glad Cellino took that stand. 50 % of all Football League games which have been shown on TV this season have featured Wolves, Leeds, Forest, Derby and Sheff Wed. That includes League One and Two games and they say this is because of the pull these clubs have outside the Premier League.

We have had 8 or 9 games moved for Sky coverage this season already. Its a bit of a farce and negatively affects the fans who attend.

The trouble is, I am pretty sure that no other clubs would stand with Cellino on this. Its all about the money now. You just have to look at how few chairman voted against the overseas Premier League games to see how little they care about the fans.
