Who are favourites for the title?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winner

I've never seen it so varied. Some bookmakers have City a bit ahead of Arsenal, others have Arsenal a bit ahead of City. Very close to call, isn't it?

Even though I'm an Arsenal fan I still think it's City's to lose. They seem to have that bit of extra quality, and a squad where a lot of them have done it recently. Having said that, they seem to rely a lot more on players like Kompany than we do on our one or two key players as well. A lot of it will probably depend on if Arsenal's injury crisis abates in the 2nd half of the season. So City's to lose then

Some games come down to one goal. In these games, the conceded goal directly equates to dropped points. We dropped 4 at Saints yet the four goals only cost us 3 points. As a result of no Kompany, for City the same 4 goals were lost at a greater cost to points in the table. This is why no matter how good Aguero is, he can't make the difference as long as City are dire in defence. Aguero is sometimes only going to be able to get the one goal that just isn't enough with the comedy act at the back. Granted we may have a problem if Mangala and Co suddenly stop clowning around. But until then City are not a threat.

Man City have a great defence, Arsenal have a shocking defence.

Incorrect! The correct answer is "Man City have a great defence WHEN KOMPANY PLAYS."

If you think they have a great defence without Kompany then you've clearly not seen them play without him

Could say the same about both Man City's beatings by Spurs and Liverpool.

Aguero made the difference yesterday when they were poor in defence.

And the point is, that City's supposed dire defence has conceded a whopping three more than Arsenal's.

Even if they don't sort the defence out they'll be a threat, you are delusional to even suggest such a thing.

City's defensive issues, more so away from home, is stopping them running away with the title not from being a threat.

Man Utd and Man City have the best defenses in the league for shots against. Arsenal have one of the worst in the top half. Cech is like a one man show at times. Honestly think if you had an average keeper you would be midtable let alone top of the league. Cech has been outstanding virtually every game.

I wish Chelsea didn't sell him now The weird thing is I actually this is Arsenal worst back 4 he has put together since he has been there. Cech saves are usually from big chances as well which is more remarkable.

Anyway if Cech gets injured then your finished. Ospina also had highest save percentage last season but Cech done it for virtually the whole season so thats even more remarkable.

That was a bit harsh I suppose. After all Spurs fans more positive things to say about Arsenal than you do so you can't be one of them

I hope I'm proven wrong in the end

The title is ours to lose imo. We have the most complete squad in the league - Our defence is miles etter than City's even if their attack is marginally better than ours
