call of duty de-rank(WAW)

ok so ...for about the 4th time on call of duty waw ive accidently jumped into a hacked lobby (infinite ammo) and straight after the game ive had my xp wiped ..deranked back to zero ...

but more importantly im completly barred from online w.a.w ...(modern warfare still works )
Has the hacker doing something ..or the makers of the game...
either way i dont understand....

ps..im playing for years ...and ive been deranked before...but never been banned

Yeah, apparently it's just hilarious.

It's jut a hack fest, people flying all over, splitting into 20 people, invincible, invisible, you name it, people do it.

I've not played it in years.

When black ops released the zombie maps as a pre order I was done with waw and never went back

I was playing WAW on ps3 late into last year. Haven't played for a couple of months.

In one game all the players in the game lobby had their XP automatically put up to maximum.

So if some hacker can do that then I'm sure they can just as easily take away all your xp. Shame as it's a brilliant game.

Black Ops 2 was getting hacked a lot recently forcing everyone to play in super slow motion.

Basically I think they've allowed these ps3 games to become a hacker's paradise so that people get sick of it and cough up for ps4's.

It's more to do with the fact it's just not worth their time and money to admin it as so few play it now.

I suppose it also makes it easier to keep the newer games like advanced warfare and bo3 hack free as people know these are far more better monitored compared to the olde games where they can just get away with it.

Actually that's not true at all. The game lobbies on both WAW and Black Ops 2 in particular are always packed out on the ps3.

The reason they don't admin the older games is because they want you to buy the newer versions of the game.

In Call of Duty's case the older games are better which is why so many people still want to play them.

Dundalk I actually don't remember what game I was playing but don't think it was Hardcore Team death match.

Is WAW at all playable now? As I said haven't been on for a month or two.

Shame as it's such a great game and so much better than these recent Call of Duty games that have come out like Ghosts and AW. Black Ops 3 on the PS3 was a monstrosity as well.

In the gran scheme of things very few people play it and no one is buying a new version of this game or buying map packs for it.

Therefore activism don't make a penny on it anymore, the fact that its just one small part of their massive servers so doesn't cost them is the only reason it's still there

That and modern warfare 1 i still.play online.....
but waw is hacked more than any game ive ever seen...
and its worse at the weekend..absolutely destroyed

where is the enjoyment.

Dundalk yeah that's why I stopped playing WAW recently as well and that was shortly after buying a map pack because I was enjoying playing it so much.

I really think Activision shoot themselves in the foot by not patching the game properly because with the amount of people that still play it they'd still make some money on map packs. Bare minimum moderation of the game can't cost them much if anything.

A lot of people obviously get put off a game when its's allowed to be hacked to death as this one has. They could still get thousands of players per month, in fact they probably still do despite it being hacked to such an extent.

Pretty sure Black Ops 2 was still getting several million users per month across all platforms.

The latest hack on Black ops 2 is that the host of each game has blurry vision. That way you're in a game where it's constantly migrating host because obviously nobody wants to play a game like that.

I can't help but think that Activision or even Sony themselves might be in part responsible for these hacks in an attempt to stop people playing ps3 games.

What does that say about the ps4 though if that's the case? Nothing good in my opinion.
