Leaders

I don't know about the new players, Arshavin, Rosicky & Ramsey may be captains but they are not leaders. Even Van Persie does not have the personality of a leader on the pitch - Vermaelen is the only one that does.

Being a captain and being a leader is a different thing altogether.

I think that we do lack leaders in the team. I also think the players the media have suggested as the leaders we need were laughable.

So now we have the captains of Wales, Russia, South Korea, Czech Republic, Belgium, and Israel in our squad, none of whom are our club captain, will the press still think we have a lack of leaders?

Will be interesting to see how it pans out. It's all looking a lot more hopeful on the captaincy front too. Cesc was put into that role far too early, and without proper role models and natural leaders around him.

I bet the media and pundits will say, I can't believe Wenger didn't go out and get a keeper! They will also say its panic buying, and Wenger should have hot more player with prem experience.
